Niagara Caregivers & Personnel Ltd. was established in 1983 by owner/operator Cherie Richards who saw a demand for quality child care. As a single mother of two and a former shift working Nurse, child care was always a concern. Finding a candidate to work overnight or early in the morning to cover shifts plus provide supervision, stimulation, activities and nutritious meals was a challenge. In later years, Cherie also experienced the need for a Caregiver for her own Mother, relatives and family friends.
We specialize in providing exceptional Child Care, Senior Care, and care for persons with special needs or disabilities across Ontario and Canada. A broad range of services are offered and designed to meet the client or family needs. Services are available 24 hours per day – 7 days per week.
Niagara Caregivers is a full service placement agency. We offer a personalized service, not an online selection. We believe the process of selecting a caregiver for your home is more personal and we provide the best match for the employer and employee. We provide extensive information for both to ensure you will have a compatible and successful working relationship. We are also available to provide support or answer questions to both employer and employee during the employment term.
In the last 35 years we have seen a return of clients who once had Nannies for their children now calling for Caregivers for their parents or the now adult children calling for Child Care Solutions for their own family. Our success derives return clients who received our quality care for their family and their referrals.
